Namurotypus sippeli
Taxonomy
Namurotypus sippeli was named by Brauckmann and Zessin (1989). Its type specimen is Sippel D-5828 N 1000, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Hagen-Vorhalle quarry (FMW collection), which is in a Marsdenian estuary/bay shale/sandstone in Germany. It is the type species of Namurotypus.
