It was assigned to Blattopteroidea by Sharov (1968); to Blattoneoptera by Kukalová-Peck and Lawrence (2004); to Plecopterida by Engel and Grimaldi (2004); to Polyneoptera by Misof et al. (2014); and to Haplocercata by Terry and Whiting (2005), Wipfler et al. (2019).
