Taxonomy
Orthophlebia parvula was named by Geinitz (1884). It is an impression. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Greifswald collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Handlirsch (1906), Willmann (1978); it was recombined as Necrotaulius parvulus by Ansorge (2002), Ansorge (2003), Zhang et al. (2017), Kelly et al. (2018).
