Chrysogomphus beipiaoensis
Taxonomy
Chrysogomphus beipiaoensis was named by Ren (1994). Its type specimen is GMC LB92020, an exoskeleton (Rather complete female adult, missing head and some of thorax with all four wings outspread but no complete), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Near Chaomidian Village (GMC Beijing coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Chrysogomphus.
