Zalmona brodiei
Taxonomy
Zalmona brodiei was named by Giebel (1856). Its type specimen is NHM I.3533, a tegmen (male tegmen), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Zalmona.
