Procyrtophyllites britannicus

Taxonomy
Procyrtophyllites britannicus was named by Zeuner (1935). Its type specimen is NHM I.19064, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Middle Purbeck, Swanage (BMNH collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Durlston Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Procyrtophyllites.
