It was recombined as Angulus merus by Hendy et al. (2008).

Synonyms

Tellina promera was named by Dall (1900). It is extant.

It was recombined as Tellina (Angulus) promera by Brown and Pilsbry (1913); it was synonymized subjectively with Angulus merus by Rosenberg (2005).
