Taxonomy
Nebraskites haresiceratiforme was named by Kennedy and Cobban (1988). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS D9128, which is in a Turonian marine shale in the Carlile Shale Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Nebraskites.
