Harleites castellensis
Taxonomy
Barroisiceras (Harleites) castellense was named by Reeside (1932). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East of Oak Spring, Sevier Co. [Mancos Shale], which is in a Coniacian marine shale in the Mancos Shale Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Harleites castellensis by Renz (1982).
