Taxonomy
Freboldiceras singulare was named by Imlay (1959). Its type specimen is USNM 129868, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic 24877, Billy Creek, which is in an Albian marginal marine horizon in the Matanuska Formation of Alaska.
