A. R. Loeblich and H. Tappan 1988 | Low trochospire test, always sinister winding. Lobe outline. profile truncated by an imperforated peripheral band sometimes marked even on the last compartments. bordered by two pustular carenes visible to the hands on the first three compartments of the last lap. In some cases, the peripheral band and pustular carina are markedly perforated. Almost peripheral umbilical-extraumbilical main opening, hemmed by a narrow lip. Shallow umbilicus, flared, without portici or tegilla. Radiated and depressed umbilical sutures. Spiral sutures, radiates apeu arched, depressed. In some primitive forms, the surface of the first cells (spiral face) is very pustular. |
