Odontochelys semitestacea
Taxonomy
Odontochelys semitestacea was named by Li et al. (2008). Its type specimen is IVPP V 15639, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Guanling, Lower Xiaowa Formation fossil lagerstätte, which is in a Tuvalian deep-water shale/marl in the Xiaowa Formation of China.
