Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
K. J. Travouillon et al. 2017Silvicultor karae differs from S. tedfordi in having the preparacrista connected to the parastylar tip (StA) on M2; StD is conical with no stylar crest or StE present on M3; and the paraconid-metaconid distance is shorter than the metaconid-pro- toconid distance on m2. Silvicultor karae differs from S. hamilto- nensis in being approximately 30–40% smaller in size; having a paraconid-metaconid distance as long as the metaconid-protoco- nid distance on m1; cristid obliqua terminating buccal to the protoconid tip on m1–2; and posthypocristid is oblique to the tooth row and connects to the hypoconulid.
