Glyptoxoceras aquisgranense

Taxonomy
Toxoceras aquisgranense was named by Schlüter (1872) [DISTRIBUTION: Campanian; Europe.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Lousberg, near Aachen (Schlüter collection), which is in a Campanian marine horizon in the Vaals Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Glyptoxoceras aquisgranense by Kennedy et al. (1992), Kennedy and Kaplan (1995) and Kennedy et al. (1997).
