Taxonomy
Demonedys granti was named by Archbold (1980). Its type specimen is CPC 19131, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BMR MG108, Minilya River, Middalya Homestead, which is in a Kungurian coastal siliciclastic in the Cundlego Formation of Australia.
