Austroperilestes hunco
Taxonomy
Austroperilestes hunco was named by Petrulevičius and Nel (2005). Its type specimen is MPEF-PI 997, a wing (wing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Laguna del Hunco (MPEF collection), which is in a Ypresian crater lake tuff in Argentina. It is the type species of Austroperilestes.
