  • Mytilus corrugatus was named by Stimpson (1851) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Western Atlantic.]. It is extant.

    It was recombined as Musculus corrugatus by Richards (1962); it was recombined as Brachiodontes corrugatus by Ozsvart (1999); it was replaced with Musculus glacialis by Hendy et al. (2008).
