Notocorbula texana

Bivalvia - Pholadida - Corbulidae

Taxonomy
Corbula texana was named by Gabb (1860) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; Gulf Coastal Plain.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Reklaw-locality 2, which is in a Ypresian shallow subtidal shale in the Reklaw Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Notocorbula texana by Palmer and Brann (1965).
