Type specimen: PSS no 42/1, a partial skull (incomplete juvenile skull). Its type locality is Dzamyn Ude, Quarry 1 Ergilin Dzo Formation, which is in an Eocene fluvial-lacustrine conglomerate/claystone in the Ergilin Dzo Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling browser

Distribution: found only at Dzamyn Ude, Quarry 1 Ergilin Dzo Formation
