Sister taxa: Macroelongatoolithus carlylei, Macroelongatoolithus goseongensis, Macroelongatoolithus xixia, Megafusoolithus qiaoxianensis
Type specimen: Zhe-4-2 (slice), an egg. Its type locality is Shuantang 1, Tiantai (Chichengshan Fm.), which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Chichengshan Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
