Type specimen: GSC 8850, a shell. Its type locality is Deadhorse Coulee, Locality 8, which is in a Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Milk River Formation of Canada.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Deadhorse Coulee, Locality 8
