Type specimen: SMFM 5781a, a mandible (left mandible with P3-M1). Its type locality is Budenheim and Heßler quarries, which is in a MN 2 peritidal limestone in Germany.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Budenheim and Heßler quarries
