Sister taxon: Nukusurus insuetus
Type specimen: CCMGE 111/12177 (?or 241/12177), a mandible (fragmentary dentary). Its type locality is CBI-17, Dzharakuduk II, which is in a Turonian/Turonian fluvial horizon in the Bissekty Formation of Uzbekistan.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at CBI-17, Dzharakuduk II
