Sister taxa: Blarinoides aliciae, Blarinoides aliciae

Type specimen: MZP no. 803, a partial skull (Rostral part of skull with M1-M3 and an incomplete row of incisors and premolars). Its type locality is Węże, which is in a MN 15 cave breccia in Poland.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution:

• Quaternary of Poland (2 collections)

• Pliocene of Germany (2), Hungary (2), Italy (1), Poland (5), Romania (1), Slovakia (1)

Total: 14 collections each including a single occurrence
