Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: PIN 3142/318, a partial skeleton (almost complete skull with lower jaw). Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav, Red Beds (PIN coll. 3142) [SMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.
