Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: FM UF 1059, a partial skeleton (partial skull with shoulder girdle and pectoral fins). Its type locality is southwest of Grandfield, which is in a Kungurian fluvial shale/sandstone in the Hennessey Formation of Oklahoma.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at southwest of Grandfield
