Type specimen: CGM C.10003, a skull (partial skull (palate)). Its type locality is Beadnell Section, which is in a Priabonian coastal sandstone in the Qasr el-Sagha Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser

Distribution:

• Oligocene of Egypt (1 collection)

• Eocene of Egypt (1)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
