Type specimen: IPS 11826, a partial skull (missing the rostral and palatal part). Its type locality is Punta Nati, Site 6, which is in a Pliocene fissure fill mudstone in Spain.

• Pliocene of Spain (2 collections), United States (1: North Carolina)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
