Type specimen: LACM 2111, a limb element (distal left humerus). Its type locality is Reynard Way and Curlew Street, which is in a Piacenzian shallow subtidal sandstone in the San Diego Formation of California.

• Blancan of United States (5: California collections)

• Pliocene of United States (3: California, North Carolina)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
