Type specimen: Princeton Univ. Mus. No. 10015. Its type locality is Chalk Bluffs, which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the White River Formation of Colorado.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution: found only at Chalk Bluffs
