Type specimen: MPCA 390-397, 400, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Hoyada de los esfenodontes 1, La Buitrera, which is in a Cenomanian crevasse splay sandstone in the Candeleros Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at Hoyada de los esfenodontes 1, La Buitrera
