Sister taxon: Nylanderina bisulcata

Type specimen: USNM 125303, a shell. Its type locality is USGS 2713. First dam on Misery Stream above Brassau Lake, which is in a Siegen marine sandstone in the Tomhegan Formation of Maine.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore

Distribution:

• Devonian of United States (2: Maine, New York collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
