Type specimen: USNM 250345, a partial skull (a nearly complete cranium and jaws. Probably from the same individual, there is a left femur and right patella, tibia, and fibula). Its type locality is Big Creek, south, which is in a Burdigalian deltaic mudstone in the Nye Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
