Sister taxon: Postosuchus alisonae

Type specimen: TTU P 9000, a partial skeleton (skull and partial postcrania). Its type locality is Miller's Ranch Quarry, which is in a Norian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Cooper Canyon Formation of Texas.

• Triassic of United States (19: Arizona, Texas collections)
