Type specimen: FMNH P12008, a shell (nearly complete carapace and plastron). Its type locality is Chalk Buttes, near Powderville, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (15: Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming collections)
Total: 15 collections each including a single occurrence
