Type specimen: PVL 4077, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is 1 km east of Cerro Cóndor, which is in a Toarcian fluvial-lacustrine tuff in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at 1 km east of Cerro Cóndor
