Type specimen: PE 27914. Its type locality is Type localitity of Shumway Limestone Member, Matttoon Fm., Shumway Cyclothem, which is in a Virgilian carbonate lime mudstone/limestone in the Mattoon Formation of Illinois.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Carboniferous of United States (3: Illinois, Texas collections)
