Sister taxa: Priusaulax browni, Priusaulax senrudi

Type specimen: KU 10173, a partial skull (partial cranium with right side of rostrum, max- illa and orbital wall containing right P4–M3). Its type locality is Martin Canyon Quarry A, which is in a Hemingfordian channel horizon in the Pawnee Creek Formation of Colorado.

Ecology: amphibious browser

Distribution: found only at Martin Canyon Quarry A
