Type specimen: NMB Al. 247, Switzerland, a mandible (Mand. dext. with i, m1 and m2). Its type locality is Anwil, Baselland, which is in a MN 7 + 8 fluvial-lacustrine horizon in Switzerland.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Anwil, Baselland
