Type specimen: NMB AL 105, a mandible (Mand. dext. with J2, Z1, Z2, M1, M2.). Its type locality is Anwil, Baselland, which is in a MN 7 + 8 fluvial-lacustrine horizon in Switzerland.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution:
