Type specimen: IVPP V.4022, a partial skull (left maxilla and dentary). Its type locality is Wuerho, IVPP site 64043, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Lianmuqin Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Wuerho, IVPP site 64043
