Type specimen: MNHNCu 76.3059, a limb element (talus). Its type locality is Domo de Zaza, which is in a Miocene fluvial-deltaic conglomerate/claystone in the Lagunitas Formation of Cuba.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Domo de Zaza
