Type specimen: UCLA 28630, a shell. Its type locality is UCLA loc. 3465, Huling Creek, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Budden Canyon Formation of California.
Ecology: infaunal carnivore
Distribution: there are no occurrences of Gyrodes (Sohlella) greeni in the database
