Type specimens:

  • Bahinia pondaungensis: NMMP 15, a partial skull (left and right maxilla and associated jaw fragment). Its type locality is Bahin 4, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siltstone in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.

Distribution:

• Eocene of Myanmar (2 collections)
