Sister taxon: Saurornitholestes sullivani

Type specimen: RTMP 74.10.5 = TMP 1974.010.0005, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is RTMP Quarry 140, Steveville, which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Dinosaur Park Formation of Canada.

Average measurements (in mm): femur circumference 63.0, fibula circumference 13.0, tibia circumference 58.3
