Sister taxon: Aigialosaurus bucchichi
Type specimen: BSP 1902II501, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton, lacking middle-distal tail). Its type locality is Between Starigrad and Vrboska, Hvar, which is in a Cenomanian marine limestone in Croatia.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Between Starigrad and Vrboska, Hvar
