Type specimen: AMNH-DP 5032, a partial skull (anterior two-thirds of the skull with fragments of the posterior portion). Its type locality is Southeast of Lismas, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.

• Cretaceous of United States (81: Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming collections)
