Type specimen: CGM 40210, a skull (skull, mandible and 4 ribs). Its type locality is Quarry O, southeast of, which is in a Rupelian fluvial horizon in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
Ecology: aquatic herbivore
Distribution: found only at Quarry O, southeast of
