- Pteranodon longiceps: YPM 1177, a skull (nearly complete skull). Its type locality is 3 mi NE Monument Rocks, which is in a Santonian offshore chalk in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas.
- Pteranodon (Longicepia) marshi: YPM 2594, a skull. Its type locality is near Plum Creek, which is in a Santonian offshore chalk in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas.
- Pteranodon (Sternbergia) walkeri: SMM 2851, a skull. Its type locality is 2 miles NE of Penokee, which is in a Santonian offshore horizon in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas.
