Type specimen: UALVP 45145, a tooth (isolated right P4). Its type locality is Cochrane 2, which is in a Ti1 fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of Canada (2: Alberta collections), United States (1: Wyoming)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
